So you wanna be the best cheerleader you can possibly be but don't know where to start? Try motions.

Every cheerleader needs to be able to execute sharp, clean motions. If you don't place your body, our arms correctly your moves will look sloppy. If wanna see how you look doing the move than practice in front of a mirror or video tape yourself. 

Hands- There are five basic hand motions to be mastered befor one can do complete motions.
 
  1. Blades: open your hand flat and make sure all of your fingers are pressed together
  2. Daggers: make a fist with your pinkie side facing out, as if you were holding a dagger
  3. Buckets: make a fist with your thumb side facing out and your knuckles up, as if you were holding a bucket 
  4. Candlesticks:make a fist with your thumb side facing up and your knuckles out as if you were holding a candlestick
  5. Knockers: make a fist with your thumb and knuckles facing out, as if you were about to knock on a door
